Eastern California State Representative - Simone Adair
Simone lives in the thriving art district of Jingletown, an industrial section of Oakland. After serving in the U.S. Coast Guard as a photographer, she attended the Miami School of Art. To all of her activities, she brings a passion for health and wellness. As a disabled veteran, she discovered first-hand the benefits of an active lifestyle. This led to signing up for a 5K, but she soon discovered longer was better and was doing half marathons every chance she could. She leads a local walking group called the Alameda Alleycats and is a proud member of the East Bay Front Runners & Walkers.
Southern California State Representative - Jackie Britton
Jackie Britton has been appointed State Representative for Southern California. Jackie is a 10-year member of the LA Leggers (Los Angeles) and is currently serving her second term on its Board of Directors. She has run 25 marathons and helps other prospective marathoners as a mentor and pace leader for seven years. Jackie served on the Leggers’ Training Committee, performing tasks such as planning the club training schedule, route, start times and mentor appreciation breakfast. She has volunteered at several club events and actively participates in various Run Club Programs.
