Illinois State Representative - Doug Pitchford

Doug Pitchford has been running for about 15 years and has done most of the race distances, from 5k to 50k. He enjoys doing marathons and half marathons, and uses them as goals to pursue. He has been a member of the Alpine Runners of Lake Zurich since 2000, having joined them to train since his first marathon. He enjoys the experiences and friendships he has made and decided to give back to the club. He was the Gatorade coordinator (put out a minimum of 4 Gatorade/water stops every Saturday year round) for 6 years before becoming the club’s treasurer four years ago. He enjoys running and getting out with others who enjoy the freedom and exhilaration of running or jogging. He is honored and excited to be the RRCA State Representative for Illinois.
