South Carolina State Representative - Tim Arthurs
Tim lives in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Recently retired from the State Dept. in Washington, D.C., Tim is looking forward to the new appointment with great interest and enthusiasm. He is a new member of the Grand Strand Running Club. Tim has been participating in running and triathlon events for the past 35 years, in and around the Washington, DC area. In running, he settled on 10-milers as his perfect distance. His base was the Cherry Blossom, the Northern Telecom 10 Miler, the Mount Vernon to Alexandria 10 miler, and the Army 10 miler at the Pentagon. In triathlon, he had two favorites: On an international distance the Reston, VA, and on a sprint distance the YMCA Rappahannock. Tim is also an avid sailor. He was the PRAF Albacore Fleet Captain, CBYRA Scheduler for the One-Design Division, and in USYRU Judge Program.
