Tennessee State Representative - Sherilyn Johnson
Sherilyn lives in Chattanooga, Tennessee, with her husband, Steve, two dogs and three cats. She is a member of the Chattanooga Track Club where she served as a board member in 2007, Vice President of Membership in 2008, President-Elect in 2009 and President in 2010. She is currently serving as Past-President. Sherilyn is the Co-Race Director and Volunteer Coordinator for the Chattanooga Waterfront Triathlon, which was voted the best triathlon in the Southeast region by Competitor magazine. She is also the Co-Race Director and Volunteer Coordinator for the Chickamauga Battlefield Marathon which was selected as the “most family-friendly” marathon, the runner-up for “most scenic” marathon, and third for best overall marathon by Runner’s World in January 2010. Sherilyn has enjoyed running for many years. She enjoys adventure races and triathlons, and has completed over 20 marathons. She is eager to help promote running and fitness in Tennessee by bringing together the Tennessee running clubs through their involvement in RRCA. Last but not the least she is looking forward to learning as much as she can about RRCA and her new State Rep appointment.
