The RRCA is the oldest and largest long distance running organization in the country. Since 1958, the RRCA membership has included runners, running clubs, sponsors, and supporters. Today there are four types of membership in the RRCA that offer tangible benefits to our members.

RRCA Benefits of Membership

Club and Event Members

• Link your website to the RRCA FOOTNOTES: For the Members by the Member for free.
• Quarterly newsletter, Inside Track, to keep pace with the RRCA and learn about best practices.
• Easily obtain nonprofit status through our group exemption with the IRS
• With the RRCA National Office handling most of the paperwork, each nonprofit club can obtain the IRS 501(c)(3) nonprofit, tax-exempt status through the RRCA group exemption. There is a small amount of paperwork for your club but no delay and no additional fees. Your club does not have to pay federal income tax on related income. As a nonprofit organization, your club or event can attract sponsors, obtain permits, receive civic support, and commitments from public groups.
• Affordable Insurance
  The RRCA offers its member clubs and events low-cost liability insurance that covers all club activities, including races, expos, meetings, etc. An annual premium can resolve all your club's liability insurance needs for the year. This policy is compatible with the USATF policy and will allow you to get USATF national and local sanctions.

• Post your event for FREE on the RRCA Race Calendar
• Gatorade Sponsorship for RRCA Championship Races
  Gatorade is the "Official Thirst Quencher" of the RRCA. Gatorade product and cups are available for races designated as national, regional, and state championships with 400 or more participants. Applications to receive the product for your race are available from RRCA regional directors.
  Link your website to www.RRCA.org for updates and calendar use and the ability to syndicate RRCA's News on your website.

• Voting privileges at the RRCA Annual Meeting
• Email updates of RRCA activities (individual members of clubs can request to be placed on list)
• Opportunity to host a State, Regional, and National Championship races (complimentary plaques provided for regional and championship races)
• Race materials provided by Fuel Belt, Inc. for RRCA Championship Races (100 participants or more)
• Fuel Belt, Inc. is the Official Hydration Delivery System of the RRCA. Race bags, stuffers, numbers, and other materials are available for free to member events and clubs that host State, Regional or National Championship races with 100 or more participants.

• Opportunity to host Women's Distance Festival events and access to WDF sponsorships
• Affordable Coaching Certification Program to supply your club or event with an RRCA Certified Coach
