RRCA Seeks Five New State Representatives
The RRCA is looking for qualified candidates to fill the State Representative position in five states: Alabama, Kentucky, Missouri, Upstate New York, and North Carolina.
State Representatives are important ambassadors for the RRCA. Responsibilities for the position include:
- Assisting the National Office and the RRCA Board in carrying out the mission, vision and values of the organization.
- Monitoring trends and issues at the state and local level and report them to the National Office.
- Promoting membership in local clubs while recruiting unaffiliated clubs, events, corporate supporters and individual members to join the RRCA.
Perks of being a State Rep include free registration and other discounts for the RRCA"�s Annual convention, provided duties for that calendar year have been fulfilled. Applicants should reside in the state they are applying to represent.
Those interested in becoming a State Rep should email RRCA Program Coordinator Andy Smith at email@example.com. Applicants should include a brief bio in their reply, as well as a few sentences on they"�re interested in the role and what they"�d hope to accomplish.
Applications for the position are due by June 1, 2015. At that time, top candidates will be referred to the corresponding Region Directors, who will help to make the final selection.
