Marshall Ulrich to Speak at Convention Luncheon

San Francisco, CA – The organizers of the 51st Annual RRCA National Convention are pleased to announce that Marshall Ulrich will be the featured speaker for the Friday luncheon at the Convention. The luncheon honors the hard work and dedication of the RRCA State Reps, our volunteer ambassadors at the state level.

“Having recently run across America, Marshall is a perfect fit to honor the RRCA State Reps and all of our dedicated convention attendees from around the country”, explained Convention Director George Rehmet.

Marshall will share stories from his adventures including his record breaking (grand masters and masters records), transcontinental run of 3,063 miles in 52-and-a-half days, the equivalent of 117 marathons. As part of his transcontinental, pre-run planning, Marshall interviewed the legendary Ted Corbitt. Luncheon attendees will be treated to the premier of portions of Marshall’s interview with Ted.

Following the Marshall presentation, the RRCA State Rep of the Year, Kelly “K2” Richards will be presented with the RRCA State Rep of the Year commemorative jacket sponsored by the Running Network.

Marshall joins the outstanding featured speakers, Dean Karnazes and Frank Shorter. For more information about all of the Convention speakers and to register for the Convention visit http://www.RRCAConvention.org.
