You could not ask for a more picturesque Half Marathon in Central Florida. The city of Ponce is welcoming the runners of the community and visitors alike with open arms for this inaugural race. The route will head down A1A where you will be met by Florida’s tallest Lighthouse while looping around to enjoy the beauty of Peninsula Road along the river and under canopied trees. Finish your journey at Aunt Catfish’s on the River for a complimentary buffet.
This beautiful run will delight your physical being as well as your charitable being as we raise money for the Volusia County High School Athletic Departments. Our goal is to put on an event that exceeds runners' expectations while raising $20,000 for our school's athletics. This would enable us to give each school's athletic department $2,000! While you are reaching your goal of running 13.1 miles, know you are raising money for our community and the ever growing needs of our high school sports!
If you are not up for 13.1 miles or your family would like to show their support by joining you on this run, the 5k race that accompanies the half marathon will be just as special. Still raising money for the schools and still getting out there and getting physical. Walkers are welcome. The 5k will be timed and awards will be presented just like the half. Please join us for either distance.
