About this Event: Rose Run Series Inc. presents Orlando’s first Halloween themed running event in which the participants wear costumes to compete, open to all ages. Bring the family out for the best Halloween Costume Fun Run. Run or walk the 3 mile route through UCF. Finish the race with treats and games! Spectators are invited to viewing areas at the Start/Finish. This event benefits the Meningitis Foundation of America; dedicated to supporting sufferers, educating the public, and developing vaccines and prevention research. When: October 25, 2012 - Race day registration and packet pick-up from 5-6pm. The race begins at 6pm. Awards: In the spirit of the holiday, the 3 fastest male and female runners will receive awards. This is an un-timed, un-scored fun run. Be sure to look at the finish line clock for your time! Beneficiary: Meningitis Foundation of America They are dedicated to develop vaccines and other methods of preventing meningitis. In addition to research, they educate the public and medical professionals about the disease in hopes to create awareness and save lives. Cost: FREE to register for all participants. FREE t-shirt to the first 50 to register. Donations are encouraged and minimum 5$ donation for a t-shirt. *Cash and checks are accepted. Please make checks payable to: Rose Run Series Inc.
