Join us on the beautiful Gainesville-Hawthorne Trail on Saturday, December 1st 8AM for our annual Tom Walker Memorial Half Marathon. This chip-timed USATF-certified course is an out-and-back loop on a wide, paved path with plenty of shade and is a perfect warm-up for your fall or winter marathon. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Friends of Paynes Prairie non-profit group. Register now on Active.com to take advantage of discounted rates and to reserve your technical shirt. Due to limited quantities, race shirts are only guaranteed for the first 225 pre-registered runners. FTC race vouchers will not be redeemable on race day, however you may pre-register for this event by bringing your voucher to a FTC meeting. Day-of-race registration and packet pickup will begin at 7 AM. The half marathon will begin at 8 AM. Awards will be given for overall male/female, masters male/female, and three deep in age groups.
