Bell in the Bayou 4 Miler and 2 Miler Run Saturday December 22, 2012 8:30 AM Benefits: Bayou La Batre Organized by:South Mobile County Tourism Authority Location: Event headquarters at St. Margaret’s Catholic Church at 13790 South Wintzell Avenue, Bayou La Batre, AL 36509 Distance: Certified 4 Mile and 2 Mile courses that showcase the industries and communities of Bayou La Batre. Courses are flat. Four miler has two turns; 2-Miler is an out and back course. This is the only 4 Mile course in Alabama south of Huntsville. Run for a record or run for fun – just run. Registration: Register by mail in person at McCoy Outdoor or Run-N-Tri in Mobile or Running Wild in Fairhope until noon on December 20, or online at Eventbrite.com until midnight December 20 Race day registration at St. Margaret’s Church from 6:45 AM – 8:15 AM. Register Online: http://www.active.com/event_detail.cfm?event_id=2066096 Entry fees: Pre-registered Day of Race Adult: $20 Adult: $25 Children (12 and under): $12 Children: $15 ****No Shirt Option: subtract $3 from entry fee Awards: 4 Miler and 2 Miler: Top male and female Overall, Masters, Grandmasters, Senior Grandmasters, and Race Walker. Top two male and female in age groups: 9 and under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, and 75-99. Shirts: Entry fee includes a long sleeved race shirt. To guarantee a shirt on race day, you must be registered by December 16. Tee shirts available while supplies last there after Post-Race Party: Food, beverages, and music will be provided after the race. Santa and some of his elves will make a special appearance.
