The course consists of 4 miles flat (2 along the beach) followed by 5 miles of rolling hills and finishes with 4 miles flat (3 along the beach.) This is the most beautiful race in Connecticut. Aid stations (2.5, 4.5, 6.5, 8.5 & 10.5) stocked with water and Gatorade Endurance and GU. Once again sponsored by Olive Garden of Orange! They will be providing hot pasta and breadsticks to all participants. Bagels and bananas too :) These races are perfectly timed within your running season! Roads will be closed and The Savin Rock Conference Center is open for registration, bathrooms, awards and post race food provided by The Olive Garden. Custom Finisher Medals for the Half Marathon. Extra Port-O-John this year in addition to the 4 bathrooms in the SRCC. Great Race Goody Bags! Custom Awards to top 3 M&F in age groups. SHORT SLEEVE TECH SHIRTS Chip timed by Last Mile Timing! EXPIDITED REGISTRATION AND PACKET PICK-UP SYSTEM! Half Marathon Starts at 8am. 5K (flat along the wide, paved beach trail) begins at 8:15am. **Race Day Registration and Packet Pick-Up from 6:30-7:45am!
