The “Keeping the Beat” race in Hull, MA is fundraising event benefiting, and endorsed by Boston Children's Hospital. Funds raised go specifically to provide a camp experience for kids 6-17 years old who have implanted pacemakers and defibrillators, and whom may also have congenital heart disease. This is an overnight weekend camp where the kids are able to do camp activities any other kid is allowed to do normally. In many instances, this is the only camp they are able to attend. This is a family event with activities for the kids, live band "On Common Ground", and post race party at Daddy's Beach Club, just steps form the race venue.
