"Psycho Psummer" Run Toto Run 50K, 20-Mile, & 10-Mile Trail Run 7th Annual Saturday, July 13, 2013 Wyandotte County Lake Park, Kansas City, Kansas. A beautiful but challenging run on hilly single-track trails. This course will be different in many ways from the February "Run Toto Run" Race. 50K Run, 10-Mile Run, and 20-miler. All on bridle trails and single-track trails. This is a rocky and hilly UNPAVED loop course. 9-hour time limit. Location: In beautiful Wyandotte County Lake Park, shelter 2. This park is a gem; it's like a piece of the Ozarks, right here in Kansas City, Kansas. ***************************************************************** Course: A challenging loop course on rocky, rooty, and hilly bridle trails & single-track trails. "But it's Kansas, how tough could it be?" The 50K course consists of three loops, at 10+ miles per loop. The 20-Mile course is two loops. You can drop to a lower loop and still "medal". The 10-mile course is one loop.This course is run on very different trails than the Winter race, taking advantage of some new (and beautiful) singletrack trails. Amenities: Unique finisher's medal, commemorative mug, technical tee-shirt.Also: Many well-staffed aid stations. Post-race food (regular and vegan). The shirts are nicely-designed, high quality, "technical" event shirts. ****************************************************************************** Packet Pickup: 3 P.M. to 9 P.M., on Friday, July 12th In the conference room at the Official Race Hotel - Comfort Suites 3000 N. 103rd Terrace, Kansas City, KS 66109 (I-435, exit 15, just slightly east on Leavenworth Rd). This location is 1.5 miles from the race start. ****************************************************************************** Start times: 8:00 a.m. for the 50K & 20-Miler. 9:00 a.m. for the 10-Miler. Chip timing will be used for all event distances. ********************************************************************************** Shirts: Well-designed technical t-shirts for all participants that enter prior to June 15, 2013. No guarantee of a shirt or proper size for later registrants. Mugs: All Entrants in all distances will receive a race logo mug! ********************************************************************************** Finishers' Medals: Finishers of the All distances will receive a large, heavy, finisher's medal! 50K finishers will also receive a special 50K oval car sticker! ********************************************************************************** Food: We will have food and drinks for all participants, after your race, regular and vegan. ********************************************************************************** Airport: Fly in to Kansas City International airport, (MCI). The race Start/Finish is just 25 minutes from the airport.
