(This race was previously a 8-miler and 5K race).

This race is a lot of fun, and many Trail Nerds started running on trails, because of this little event. We moved the start to within the State Park in 2011, to help with State Park funding. There is a $5 entry fee (per car), to enter the State Park, but it is a worthwhile cause, to support this wonderful State Park!

This is a low-key, fun event. There are no shirts, unless you want to buy one, no medals, and no raucous crowds cheering for you. What you get, though, is a GOOD TIME in the great outdoors, a Logo'd Mug, and a good time.
The Trail Nerds help to fund the trails that you are running on and the State Park that you are running in, as well.
