Please join us for our 4th annual environmental awareness run in Delaware Park on Saturday, April 20, 2013. This year’s run will feature a distance of 4.22 miles, commemorating the first Earth Day held back on 4/22/70 and celebrating the 43rd Earth Day celebration set for Monday 4/22/13. Runners will gather at the Meadow Run entrance for a 12 NOON start, circling the park almost 2.5 times before crossing the Finish Line at the Indian Hunter Statue at the 4.22 mile mark. The top 25 finishers will receive a complimentary Green Buffalo Runner T-Shirt and water bottle. Immediately following the race, all runners and spectators are encouraged to join with the Buffalo Olmstead Parks Conservancy for the planting of the Green Buffalo Runner - Earth Day 2013 commemorative tree.
