The SANDY HOOK RUN FOR THE FAMILIES in downtown Hartford is not about running. It is about life: honoring the memory of precious lives lost through tragedy and celebrating the gift of life. It is about uniting in hope for the future. This is an event for the whole family starting with a Kids Fun Run for ages 2 – 11. The 5K is open to runners and walkers of all abilities. Post-race activities will include activities for children, refreshments for all and a special tribute to all First Responders.
The Sandy Hook Run for the Families is a very special event which we hope you will be a part of, whether in person or as a “Virtual Runner.”
