Event Information

This event is a 5K road race and 1-mile fun run/walk and is the second event of the Healthy Blount Triple Crown of Running. The race begins and ends on the Maryville College campus. A portion of the proceeds from this race will fund two annual student scholarships sponsored by the Foothill Striders. Individual and team competition will take place. Special awards will be given to the overall and masters winners, top 3 finishers in each age division, and to the top 3 teams in the 5K. All Fun Run/Walk participants will receive a ribbon. Cost is $17 if pre-registered at Blount County Parks & Rec, or on-line by 3:00 pm August 8, 2013. Day of race registration is $20. Cost includes a t-shirt and great giveaways.
