Join us April 7th, 2013 at 10:00 AM for the second annual race across the Penobscot Narrows Bridge! We're offering a 1 mile fun run, a 5k out-and-back race and a 10 mile loop around peaceful Verona Island. All three races start at Fort Knox and finish at the Verona Island Picnic Area. The 5k and 10 mile races will be timed; the 1 mile fun run will not be timed. Prizes include pieces of the "old" bridge, and everyone gets a stunning view of the Penobscot River as you race across the new bridge!
