It will be hard to find a flatter, more scenic mountain course than this one. Fall temperatures and a mostly packed dirt/gravel course that meanders along a riverside through Tryon's famous "horse country" are all that is needed to make this an unbelievable 13.1 experience. Tryon Running Club's mission is to give back to the community "one step at a time". A portion of the proceeds for our half marathon will be donated to The Thermal Belt Outreach Ministry. This organization is committed to ending poverty in our community.
