This run will take you or your two-person team on a 13.1 mile challenging trek around the high north shore cliffs of West Maui, with scenic views of the Pacific. This race has 80% hills, but the views are some of the best you will see on Maui. A truly incredible race. Proceeds from the run benefit the Servants of Keakua Mahalo Nui, a non-profit organization restoring the historic and beautiful Kahakuloa Hawaiian Congregational Church. This church was built in the late 1870';s and needs our help to restore it to it';s proper form so residents can use once again. The race starts at 6:30am at Fleming Beach at Kapalua. The course follows Kahekili Hwy all the way to lovely Kahakuloa town. For the relay teams, the first leg runner will run from the Fleming Beach to approximately 6.5 miles up onto the Kahekili Highway. Breakfast will be served on the fields of peaceful Kahakuloa from 8 - 10am.
