Event Information

The races start and finish at Altoona Hobbs Ice Arena, 2300 Spooner Avenue, Altoona, Wisconsin. The 5K starts at 8:30 AM, and the 10K starts at 10:00 AM. The starting times for the races are staggered to allow runners to compete in both races. The course begins at Altoona Hobb's Ice Arena then heads south on the bike path to Lake Road where the runners turn east. The Spring Fever courses are out and back through the wooded residential neighborhoods that border Lake Altoona. The courses are basically flat but the 6-mile runners enjoy a nice downhill dip to the turnaround point, then they climb right back up from whence they came. No good turn goes unpunished. The awards ceremony follows the conclusion of the Spring Fever 10K race. Plenty of food, hot beverages and cold beverages will be available after the race. The first overall male and female and the top 3 male and female runners in each age group will receive awards.
