Starry Night Philadelphia
Sep 6 2014
Welcome to our first Starry Night Philadelphia! This is one in a series of events the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation is launching in major cities across the country. Join us to fundraise for this 8.5K walk/run to shed light on the 28,000 American children living with a brain tumor. Join us to light Philadelphia’s nighttime sky with lanterns to symbolize our hope for a cure. Starry Night Philadelphia will raise funds for research to combat more than 100 types of childhood brain tumors, and will support services for families at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. The walk/run can be completed individually or as a two-person relay. The evening also features a 50-yard dash, other activities for kids and local entertainment. Plus, we’ll highlight the story of a child with a brain tumor diagnosis and honor a local childhood brain tumor hero. Entry is fee, but we recommend a fundraising goal to help support this great cause!
