Imagine running 13.1 miles under mammoth moss covered oaks, past historic homes and along Lakeshore Drive as the sun sparkles across the water. THis is the 3rd Race of the 2012 Gulf Coast Half Marathon Series. Historic Old Mandeville, just a quick drive from New Orleans, features a course that is flat, fast, and guaranteed to provide the perfect place to kick off your fall racing schedule. Distance: 13.1 miles Date: Sunday October 14, 2012 Race Start time: 7:00am Average Start Time Temp: 57 degrees Dawn: 6:34am Number of Aid stations on course: 12 (approx. 1 every mile)
