2012 MCM Event Series Opens Registration on January 25
QUANTICO, VA (Jan. 24, 2012) - The 2012 MCM Event Series opens for online registration tomorrow, Jan. 25. This is the fifth year of the MCM Event Series of road races that are annually held March through November. In the tradition of the Luck O’ the Irish, the Irish Sprint 10K on March 17 will offer all finishers guaranteed entry into the 37th Marine Corps Marathon (MCM). The Irish Sprint 10K (6.2 miles) will be held along the trails and winding paths of scenic Prince William Forest Park in Prince William County, VA.
The coveted MCM entries will be presented as lucky golden tickets to all Irish Sprint 10K runners as they cross the finish. Each ticket will include a special code for runners to claim their guaranteed spot.
