Disneyland Half Marathon to Host RRCA National Club Championship on September 4, 2011
RRCA Clubs are encouraged to join the runDisney Running Club Program for no charge and bring their team to this event.
The RRCA has teamed up with runDisney to bring you the 2011 RRCA National Club Championship at the Disneyland Half Marathon in Anaheim, CA, on September 4, 2011
RRCA Clubs are encouraged to join the runDisney Club for free and bring their team to this event. Travel and entries for the event can be arranged through Get Travel, an official travel partner for the Disneyland Half Marathon. Call Get Travel at 888-877-4445 and ask for Bill Kelley at extension 105. The RRCA club package is $195/individual and includes race registration and 1Day/1Park ticket to this event that is sold out to the general public. Get Travel can book accommodations at a neighbor hotel, as the Disneyland Resorts are already sold out. You must note that you are with the RRCA on the race registration form that Bill will provide for club registrations.
You must become a member of the runDisney Club in order to be considered for the National Club Championship and to be named the “Fastest Club in the Land”.
Clubs will be scored based on the average time for all team participants compared to the average times of your competitors. Your team must consist of at least five individuals with at least one being female.
To participate in the Club Championship:
- You must be a current member of runDisney Running Club or your club must join for free at http://espnwwos.disney.go.com/about/endurance-running-clubs/
- Put your team together for the RRCA National Club Championship
- Book your arrangements with Get Travel as soon as possible
- Race your heart out at the Disneyland Half in Anaheim on September 4th to prove your club is the “Fastest Club in the Land”
