Encourage the President to Promote Healthy Lifestyles in the State of the Union
On Tuesday, February 12, 2013, President Barack Obama will deliver his fourth State of the Union address. Our partners at the American College of Sports Medicine are encouraging the President to make a statement during his State of the Union Address on the importance of healthy lifestyles, exercise and physical activity. To that end, we support ACSM’s effort and we are asking our members to send a letter to the President urging him to include a statement in the State of the Union address in support of healthy lifestyles.
As an organization comprised of members that are supportive of this issue, please take a moment visit the ACSM Policy Center and send a note to the President encouraging him to include the importance healthy lifestyle choices as part of his State of Union Address.
