RRCA partners, the Healthy Weight Commitment Foundation and Discovery Education’s website www.EnergyBalance101.com, invite you to enter the Find Your Balance Challenge. The contest is open to K-5 classroom teachers who implement creative Energy Balance change in their school. Grand prize includes a $30K grant from Sports Authority and the Ultimate Energy Balance party featuring a consultation with nutrition experts and field events. Sports Authority will award two secondary prizes in the form of a $10K grant.
The RRCA’s Kids Run the Nation program includes information on teaching Energy Balance including incorporating the www.EnergyBalance101.com curriculum into youth running programs hosted by local schools.
