The California Endowment
The California Endowment’s mission is to improve the health status of all Californians. Grantmaking currently focuses on requests that address the Endowment’s Building Healthy Communities ten-year plan, which supports the development of communities where kids and youth are healthy, safe, and ready to learn. Grant requests should align with the results and outcomes sought by the plan, including providing a healthy home for all children, reversing the childhood obesity epidemic, increasing school attendance, and reducing youth violence.
