RRCA Seeks Full Time Program Coordinator
The Road Runners Club of America is hiring for a Program Coordinator to work full time in the RRCA National Office in Arlington, VA. The Program Coordinator will be responsible for managing tasks related to the Kids Run the Nation program, the Championship Event Series, the State Reps program, the Runner Friendly Community program, the National Awards, and other program duties as assigned. The position will work under the direction of the RRCA executive director and will work closely with the membership of the organization. This position will also promote RRCA programs to the membership and running community at-large.
We are seeking a task-oriented, hard worker, with outstanding attention to detail. Must be a team player that is willing to take direction and work under tight deadlines. The ideal candidate must have a bachelor’s degree in marketing and communications, public relations, sports management, nonprofit management, or related degree. The ideal candidate will also have three years of post collegiate work experience, ideally in a nonprofit organization. Additional qualifications include positive customer service attitude, outstanding verbal and written communication skills, and an interest in running as a sport and healthy lifestyle choice.
