F.M. became a runner at age 42 in order to compete in a triathlon. From that, he found a love of running and the running community. He is a graduate of Georgia Tech with a degree in Information and Computer Science and is currently employed at the Mercer Engineering Research Center as well as teaching a running class at Mercer University. He has been active with his local club, Macon Tracks Running Club, for 10 years and has served as president of the for the past four years and is the director of three annual races. Having competed in events from 400M on the track to marathons as well as duathlons and triathlons, he enjoys all competition but prefers longer distances. F.M. is a native of Macon, GA where he currently resides.
