Louisiana State Representative - Betsy Boudreaux

womens_half_finish_thumbBetsy has been actively involved in the New Orleans running community since she began running 10 years ago.  In addition to serving as Vice President for her home club, Bestbank Track Club, she also serves as Volunteer Coordinator for the Ironman New Orleans 70.3 event and is on the race committee for the Crescent City Classic 10k road race.  Her role as the Local Community Relations Liaison for the Rock’n’Roll New Orleans Marathon requires her establish contact & relationships with the hundreds of businesses, neighborhood associations, churches, etc…that may be impacted by the traffic detours or road closures associated with the race.  Her experience as a USATF course measurer also keeps her busy not only in the New Orleans area but throughout the state & region.  A veteran of countless road races, 14 marathons, three half Ironmans & numerous sprint distance triathlons, Betsy recently completed her first full Ironman distance event at Ironman Florida 2012.  She has attended the RRCA conventions since 2005 and in 2011 Betsy was named RRCA State Representative of the Year.
