Paulette Odenthal began her running career as an All-American distance runner with the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul and began road marathon running in the mid-80’s and finally transitioning to trail and ultra running in the late 90’s. Currently she has completed 86 marathons and beyond, including Boston, 8 Rim-to-Rims and the TransRockies 3 and 6 day events.
Paulette has been the Executive Director of the Get in Gear events since 1998 and is a coach and Run Coordinator for Life Time Fitness since 2007, having coached over 200 marathoners of various levels to successful goal completion. She served on the Upper Midwest Trail Runner Board of Directors for 3 years and continues to be involved as a community volunteer for the many running events in the Twin Cities. She lives with her husband, an avid hunter, and two dogs in Prior Lake, Minnesota and makes time to bow hunt once a year. Paulette is a mother, wife, sister, friend, coach, volunteer and avid supporter of goals and dreams in all capacities. Favorite motto: Life is for living.
