Donate to RRCA Programs
Income from membership dues only covers a portion of the revenue needed to support the mission of the RRCA. Generous support from our members, individual donors, corporate sponsors, and foundations enables us to develop, improve, and implement valuable programs that benefit the running community. Donors are encouraged to support RRCA programs by mailing a check, noting a fund below, to: 1501 Lee Hwy, Ste 140, Arlington, VA 2009, or give through the online giving options below.
Annual Program Fund
Unrestricted contributions to the RRCA are applied to the Annual Program Fund to help finance the costs for the Kids Run the Nation program materials, Runner Friendly Community program, RUN@WORK and RUN@School Day promotional efforts, RRCA State Rep activities, National Running Awards Ceremony with awardee travel stipends, RRCA Championship Event Series, and much more. Please support the RRCA through an annual contribution.
Kids Run The Nation Fund
The RRCA developed the Kids Run the Nation Fund to assists running clubs, events, and schools interested in implementing or currently hosting youth running programs. This small grant program is funded by restricted contributions from members, individuals, foundations, and corporations. All money donated to this fund is restricted, and no portion of contributions to this fund are used to for administrative expenses. The RRCA’s goal is to raise and grant over $20,000 annually to youth programs around the country. Your contribution of $500 or more provides a grant to a deserving youth program.
Roads Scholar Fund
Since 1996, the Road Runners Club of America has awarded 112 grants totaling $510,000 through its Roads Scholar program. The goal of the program is to assist American post-collegiate runners who show great promise to develop into national and world-class road running athletes. The grants awarded go directly to the athletes to support their goals of becoming world-class distance runners. The RRCA’s goal is to provide six to eight $5,000 grants per year to deserving athletes.
