Only RRCA Certified Coaches in good standing have access to this insurance program.
This policy covers individual RRCA Certified Coaches being paid a fee to coach clients either individually or as a group in the continental United States and internationally for short business trips that do not exceed 30 days.
Volunteer coaches that are not paid by their RRCA member running club are insured through the club’s insurance with the RRCA.
Employees of a coaching business are not covered unless they are RRCA certified and also purchase this individual insurance coverage.
RRCA Certified Coaches that reside outside of the United States are not covered by this policy.
The insurance premium for this program is $170.
$25 of the fee is applied towards the individual membership dues for the RRCA, which is required for RRCA Certified Coaches to access this group insurance program.
There is no deductible for this policy.
This is a group policy, not an individual policy, meaning you will be written to the RRCA’s master coaching insurance policy. By writing individual coaches to the RRCA’s group policy, it allows us to provide competitive rates for this comprehensive insurance program.
This insurance program runs on the calendar year from January 1 to December 31, and there is no pro-rating of fees. The premium is $170 whether you purchase insurance on January 1 or November 10. However, any application submitted on or after November 15 will be applied to the following year’s policy, and the applicant will not be insured for the remainder of the current year. If you have extenuating circumstances, please email [email protected].
You will receive a copy of the certificate of insurance by email from Insurance Management Group (IMG). It may take up to 14 business days to process the certificate of insurance from the time full payment is received by the RRCA. If you have not received your certificate of insurance after the 14 business day window, please email [email protected].
You are covered by the policy starting on the date of payment.
