Coach Betsy Magato

A Midwest native now rooted in Atlanta, Betsy’s lifelong passion for running has shaped her personal journey and her coaching career. She brings more than 35 years of running experience and holds certifications through RRCA, the Galloway Method, and VDOT O2. As a coach, Betsy works with athletes individually, in groups, and virtually, guiding runners of all abilities to find joy, confidence, and growth through running. She is dedicated to empowering her community as a lululemon Run Ambassador and as a Kilometer Kids coach for the Atlanta Track Club, nurturing a love of movement from an early age. Her competitive drive shines through accomplishments across the racing spectrum, from 5K to 50K - racing, pacing, and championing inclusivity as a push-assist runner. Recently Betsy earned a top 10 placement in her HYROX age group, a testament to her versatility and openness to new and fun challenges.
