Coach Bruce Snow

RRCA Certified Coach I began running track in the 7th grade, earned my first ribbon for a relay in the 8th grade. Ran hurdles in the 9th grade, placed in 6 varsity meets. Ran hurdles and 200 meters in 10th grade; lettered. Awarded Most Improved, junior year and Most Valuable senior year. I taught high school English and was the track coach for three years; took the entire team to the State meet. Began road racing 5Ks and 10Ks in Gainesville, FL August 24, 1978. Since then I have run nearly 400 races including more than 26 half-marathons, and 7 full marathons, including Boston in 2008. I have also competed in a few triathlons, and biathlons. I was an ACE Certified Personal Trainer while in college. I am proud to announce I have just completed my RRCA Certification as a distance running coach. I also have a Masters Degree in Physical Therapy which was my profession for 28 years.
