Coach Dana Henderson

Dana Henderson Profile Image
While always a fitness enthusiast, Coach Dana started running in her late 40s. Within one year, she ran her first 5K and every distance up to and including the marathon. She has a special interest in working with runners who are seeking to accomplish something new and never thought possible. Coach Dana's style is a combination of mentoring, science, cheerleading, and calling it as she sees it. She has raised more than $15,000 as a charity runner in several world major marathons. Previously, Coach Dana led two teams of novice cyclists to complete the 2000 and 2001 Washington DC AIDS Rides - a 330 mile endurance cycling event that raised critical funds for DC-based organizations. She was a certified Spinning instructor, taught boot camp, and chased after her sons (the most difficult endurance event, of all!), one of whom now runs Division 1 track. Whether you're looking a plan to keep you on track, build fitness, or reach a goal that requires digging deeper than ever, Coach Dana will help you discover and unleash the hero in you!
