RRCA Certified Coach Hi! I'm an avid runner and running nerd and I would love to help you meet your goals on the run! As a coach, I've helped novices finish their first 5k/10k as well as more experienced runners PR the 10-mile or finish a half. I believe in a holistic coaching approach that recognizes that running is just one part of your busy life. It's so gratifying to meet running goals and realize that you are so much stronger than you thought you were, both mentally and physically, and I can help you get to that point. I know firsthand how tough injury is, and my conservative approach works to avoid it in the first place. I will encourage you to eat lots of food, get lots of sleep, and strength-train! I've been running for 15 years and have completed 5 marathons, including Boston. I love racing all distances but what I really love is the grind of training. Running helps me navigate my daily life as a mom, writer, employee, friend, and community member -- in the daily mood boost, in the long-term mental stamina, and in the lessons I've learned from my miles on the road.
