Coach Laura Horvat
Hi there! I’m Laura Horvat, a running and nutrition coach with a passion for helping people live healthier lives, and the founder of Eat Run Thrive Coaching LLC. In addition to my RRCA Level 2 run coaching certification, I hold a Master of Science (MS) in Nutrition Education and am a NASM Certified Personal Trainer.
Through Eat Run Thrive Coaching, I specialize in working with novice and intermediate runners who are looking to build their base fitness or to tackle a half or full marathon. However, I’ve also coached individuals across a wide range of experience levels and race distances, from 5k to 50-milers.
I believe that whether you log 5 miles per week or 60, you’re a runner! And runners of all levels can benefit from a focused training plan and a personal cheerleader. From first-time marathoners to PR- and BQ-chasers, all are welcome.
I also believe that training plans are very personal. What works best for you may not be ideal for your best friend, mom, or running partner, so I’m committed to creating individualized coaching plans that can be adapted as your needs change.
