Creating Effective Surveys with Laurel Park

Surveys can be a great tool for gathering information – if they are done correctly. In “Creating Effective Surveys,” Laurel Park, president of the Ann Arbor Track Club and a professional social science researcher, provides expert advice on how to develop, write, and administer a survey that will generate useful information for your club or race. Laurel walks through steps on planning your survey, survey design, choosing and writing survey questions, publicizing your survey, and using the resulting data. A brief overview of survey software is included.
