Grand Lake, CO. Shadowcliff Lodge has announced June 16-20 as the dates for its Trail Running Retreat. The Retreat will provide fantastic trail running for beginners and veterans alike and a rare opportunity to experience real trails, real altitude, and real fun. Shadowcliff Lodge is located at 8,500 feet of elevation on the southwestern edge of Rocky Mountain National Park, an area of extraordinary beauty.
Shadowcliff will provide the lodging, meals, trails, guides, support, and education about trail running and safety. Retreat faculty include Olympian and trail runner Don Kardong, trail running guide Vic Harris, trail running maven Nancy Hobbs, and coach and trail runner Carl Sniffen.
Expect an unforgettable experience: spectacular trails, wildlife, wildflowers, and unbelievable scenery. And, when you"�re not on the trails, you"�ll have time to enjoy a variety of other possibilities, including, fishing, kayaking, hiking, horseback riding or taking in a live show at the nationally recognized Rocky Mountain Repertory Theatre.
The cost is $500 per person based upon triple occupancy. Until February 28, running clubs that sign up at least three participants get the fourth one for free, subject to availability.
