Monterey, CA Running Club Give Scholarships to Local High School Seniors

$12,500 distributed to 10 scholar distance runners from throughout Monterey County The Monterey Bay Wednesday Night Laundry Runners (WNLR) running club provided $12,500 in college scholarship funding to ten selected Monterey County High School senior runners. The scholarship is based on the student competing in both cross country and distance track events (1 mile/2mile), running times and accomplishments, scholastic achievement, leadership, extracurricular activities, family monetary need, and an interview process.
