The RRCA National Convention started with the Coaching Cohort where 45 students gathered for a full day of learning and fun with instructors Randy Accetta and Cari Seztler. A noon they joined the State Reps Luncheon for a break. Following the luncheon, nearly 40 RRCA State Reps and Board Members gathered to review progress, share ideas, ask questions, and much more. The group stopped just long enough for a photo before diving right into the roundtable discussions. Nearly one hundred people joined in the lively discussions on a variety of topics of interest to the running community.
At 5:30 pm, attendees filled the Marie Antoinette ballroom for the Welcome Reception hosted by Expert Brands and Virtual Event Bags. Attendees enjoyed the local Arbor Crest wine and some food. In attendance was special guest Bernard Lagat who posed for photos with fans and talked with running enthusiasts. A great time was had by all.
The RRCA Convention will kick-off at 8:30 AM today and has a full schedule of events including regional meetings, education sessions, RRCA Annual Meeting, and will conclude with the Wine Dinner at Arbor Crest.
