San Francsico, CA - On the sunny but cool and windy morning of April 14, the Levi’s Presidio 10 Mile race hosted the RRCA's 10 Mile National Championship for 2019. The Presidio 10 is a fun, family-oriented race in the Presidio of San Francisco. Runners can run either the 10 mile, 10 kilometer, or a 5 kilometer scenic course starting and finishing at Crissy field. The 10 mile and 10K run courses go over and back on the Golden Gate Bridge, with the 10 mile providing for a challenging, hilly course through the Presidio in the first few miles.
The Levi’s Presidio 10 is an all-volunteer organized race put on by the Guardsmen, and 100% of the proceeds are donated back to the community. The Guardsmen, an all-volunteer organization founded in 1947, sends 2,500 disadvantage youth to outdoor education programs and provides scholarship support to more than 250 students at Bay Area private schools.
